HOME/SCHOOL COMMUNICATION
HOME/SCHOOL COMMUNICATION
When it comes to relating to school personnel and advocating on behalf of youth with complex needs, many families feel lost. Most caregivers don’t know their responsibilities when it comes to interfacing with schools and so they wait for teachers or social workers to tell them what to do. Yet, many social workers and teachers are similarly unclear on who should be doing what. This course will give you everything you need to know (but may have been afraid to ask) about school and educating kids in care.
